Last night for my Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education course, we came in character as an educational philosopher of our choosing. I came dressed as John Dewey who, during the Industrial Revolution, was already advocating for the importance of incorporating practical experience into education. In order to fully commit, I brought out my father's wedding suit, a pair of my grandfather's glasses, and a borrowed tie from Caitlin's father. Needless to say, I think I pulled it off.
